Today’s Lunch: Bacon Cheeseburger, Soft Tacos, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, tater tots, garden salad, applesauce and milk.

 

Tomorrow’s Lunch: Tony’s Pizza, Peanut butter & Jelly Sandwich Spicy Chicken Sandwich, garden salad, baby carrots w/dressing, strawberry/banana mix and milk.

 

Tomorrow’s Breakfast: Biscuits & gravy w/sausage, Mini Pancakes, Cereal/oatmeal, yogurt, grapes and juice.  

 

This week is Safe and Sober Week. Dress up days - Thursday - Sunglasses day ( Stay Bright, don't do drugs), Friday - Black and Gold day (Blackout drugs)

 

The STE+AM Team will be holding a "Gaining Steam" Career & Technical Education Week beginning May 7 through May 11, 2018. There are various activities and dress-up days planned. Look for flyers. WHS will hold a Career Fair on Friday, May 11, from 12:30-5:30 p.m. for 7-12 grade students, parents, and community members. 

 

Any senior interested in a 12-week summer internship or full-time General Maintenance Mechanic position at ConAgra Foods in Marshall, MO beginning right after graduation, please see Mrs. Foster or Mrs. Swainston for more information. It is union work beginning at $18.77 per hour. ConAgra will also be attending our Career Fair. 

 

There will be an assembly during GT on Friday to educate students on the consequences of drug use.

 

The Spring Athletic Banquet will be Monday, 5/21 here at WHS. This will be for all spring sports athletes/families and coaches. 

 

Seniors: you need to wear your senior shirt on Friday. 

If you don't have a senior shirt then wear a grey shirt. You will be taking a picture during lunch shifts.

The CTA Scholarship deadline has been extended until May 1st.  

If anyone wants to apply for the scholarship the form is on the website.

 

Remember you must be in attendance all day Friday to attend Prom on Saturday unless you have pre-approved a dr appointment and bring a note.

 

Any high school student interested in taking summer school needs to pick up an enrollment form from the office. All completed forms must be returned to April in the office.

Summer School dates are May 29-June 29.

 

Student Council consists of class presidents and representatives as well as the four executive officers.  Applications for class presidents and representatives for the 2018-19 school year are available from Ms. Hunt.  Class meetings for the election of class officers will be held on Thursday, April 26 during Greyhound Time.
